After joining CCID (at no cost), completing the FREE On-line Self-Employment Course, we will share information how we might assist you in creating your own home-based Internet business. The Chamber of Commerce for Individuals with DisAbilities is proud to offer this online course on Starting a Home-Based Business.

The Chamber's goal is to improve the economic status of disAbled, disadvantaged and unemployed individuals by providing various resources allowing them to eliminate their dependence on government aid and entitlement programs by promoting self-sufficiency.

This course has been created to increase the knowledge and awareness regarding the use of self- employment as a viable employment alternative for people with disAbilities. Further, this online course is part of a long-term goal to help individuals with disAbilities and their families achieve economic independence.

This course contains ten self-contained modules that can be taken in any order. Some of the modules require that you complete a ten-question quiz. Once you have completed all ten modules, the Chamber will email you a Certificate of Completion.

If you are serious about changing your current economic situation, taking this course is a step in the right direction. We hope the course material presented in the next ten modules will be both useful and informative.
